The Energy Research Centre (ERC) is the National University of Lesotho (NUL)'s strategic hub for interdisciplinary research, education and advocacy of sustainable energy and renewable energy technologies (RETs).
The NUL ERC aims to be a leading national hub in energy efficiency and renewable energy studies, related information management and development-oriented activities.
The mission of the NUL ERC is to develop capacity in sustainable energy and renewable energy studies, conduct relevant RETs research geared towards social and economic development and provide scholarly expertise on energy matters through national energy policy advice, technical advisory services, training and community outreach pilot projects.
The next certification program is scheduled for June/July 2012
