LECTURER IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Lecturer in Information Systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
The Department offers the following degrees: B.Sc. Information Systems, B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Eng. Computer Systems and Networks (with Cisco Systems Certification Programme: CCNA 1, 2, 3 & 4) and general B.Sc. Computer Science double major with subjects such as/including Mathematics, Statistics and Physics.
- A Master’s Degree in Information Systems (locals) and PhD in Information Systems (non-locals).
- Teaching (tutoring) experience at a tertiary level will be an added advantage.
- PhD in a relevant field will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake teaching at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels.
- Initiate and /or participate in research programmes and program development within the department.
- Perform other duties, including administrative, and as would be required by the department.
Remuneration:
The University offers salaries and other benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Employment type:
Permanent and pensionable/gratuitable for Locals and two-year contract for Non-Locals.
